AI that turns words to worlds is here! Google’s Genie can transform texts into immersive 3D space

Technology Desk: Generative AI is moving at a breakneck speed! Now you can instantly be at your imaginative space within seconds. Google’s Project Genie offers its users to instantly generate 3D worlds of their imagination. Whether it’s a desert or an under-ocean environment, you can experience it instantly and in real-time with just a prompt.

Built by Deep Mind, Genie is experimental research phototype that enables its users to generate and explore infinitely diverse worlds. Apart from just textual prompts, users can also give image prompts and ask Genie to transform that into immersive and imaginative visuals.  

Genie can be used through multiple devices like computer screen, mobile devices, or AR and VR sets. Although, it is currently being sold through a subscription and available to only Google AI Ultra subscribers.

Indeed, Genie has opened new frontiers in the human-machine interactivity. Its infusion of real-time physics with creative storytelling will help multiple sectors like gaming, journalism, education, animation, and more and take immersive experience through AI to an entirely new level.
