Global Desk: On Sunday the United State defence forces entered the airspace of Iran and launched the Operation Midnight Hammer, dropping heavy armaments in its three nuclear facilities at Fordow, Natanz, and Isfahan. The US fighter jets safely returned home after executing this risky and long-time planned task.
Although, it is not completely known as to how much damage these strikes have done to Iran, However, following the completion of the mission President trump said on social media that Iran’s nuclear sites have been completely obliterated, and there is no other military in the world that could have done this.
US has also said that the aim of the attack was to only target the nuclear facilities and not the Iranian military or civilians.
According to reports from the media, Iran could not stop the strike as its air defence system could not see the planes. However, it has said that it has the right to respond.
Meanwhile, Iranian leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is hiding at a secret location, which US says it knows where he is.
With this attack the US has formally thrown its hat on the Israil-Iran conflict, which could possibly result in a broader war, with implications for the entire world.
