Donald Trump is back on YouTube
Global Desk: Donald Trump has been reinstated on YouTube. On Thursday, the leading video streaming giant announced this through its press account, the BBC has reported.
The former US president’s account has been reactivated after a two year long suspension which was done after he lost the presidential elections to Biden led Democrats.
In 2021 his YouTube channel was banned in view of instigating violence and breaking its code of conduct.
By announcing about the Trump’s return to the platform, YouTube however also said that that his channel will be subjected to its user policies and regulations just like any other account on the platform.
There has not been any official statement from Donald Trump in relation to this so far. His official YouTube channel @DonaldJTrumpforPresident has 2.65 million subscribers. His very last video before the ban received around 6,198, 080 views where he gave a speech from office in relation to “voting fraud” and “irregularities” during the presidential election. He had termed it as the “most important speech” he had ever made.
Trump’s reinstatement to the platform followed soon after social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook had also lifted his suspension.
