Global Desk: Following his visit and meeting with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, French President Emmanuel Macron has called for peace in Europe. Amidst the rising tensions between Russia and Ukraine, Macron has stated that there is still an opportunity to generate peace and stability in Europe. He said this during a post meeting press conference in Moscow.
He also stated that Europe and Russia can work jointly to find innovative solutions in relation to collective security issues. He added that both the sides could also agree on certain measures in order to calm down the present scenario and settle the situation in Ukraine.

Macron also said that in the coming days he would have more opportunity to have telephonic conversation with Putin in regard to Ukraine.
Furthermore, the French President asserted that the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy was anxious about the Russian soldiers on its boarder.
Macron also said he was worried about the words of the Belarusian President Alexander Lulashenko on the prospect of deployment of nuclear weapon in Belarus again.
