Smartphone banned in the schools in this country

Global Desk: School students in South Korea will not be able to use mobile phones in their schools anymore. Recently, South Korea has passed a bill which is set to ban the use of mobile phones in classrooms across the nation.

As per a social media announcement of its Ministry of Education, the new law is going to be applicable form March 2026.

According to the law students will be restricted from the use mobile phones except in the cases of disabilities, special education needs, or other educational purposes.

The law aims to curb the mushrooming smartphone and social media addiction among children.

With this South Korea has joined countries like Australia and Netherlands that has passed similar laws to curb social media and screen addiction among its youngsters.
