Sports Desk: Indian shooter Manu Bhaker have won the first medal for India in the Paris 2024 Olympics.
The 22-year-old Bhaker finished third in the 10-metre pistol shooting event to clinch a bronze medal for India.
She shot brilliantly since the first round with consistent shoot at higher targets, but narrowly missed the silver and gold positions to the dominant shooters from South Korea.
With this Manu Bhaker has become the first Indian woman to win a medal at shooting and has also ended the draught of shooting medal since the last couple of Olympics.
