Lifestyle Desk: A university in Nigeria is at the centre of controversy after a viral social media video showed female students being touches in their chests to see if they were wearing bras before taking an exam.
The incident happened in the Olabisi Onabanjo University in Nigeria, where wearing bras were made mandatory for female students to enter the examinational hall.
Even though the video has sparked global outrage about physical harassment and unwarranted touches, a student leader from the university as defended the incident.
In a social media post he clarified that “No Bra, No Entry” was not a new policy in the Olabisi Onabanjo University, as it always encouraged students to dress with modesty and promoted a dress code to maintain a respectful and distrustful environment.
