Trump mediates ceasefire between India and Pakistan

Global Desk:  India and Pakistan have agreed to meet halfway after US President Donald Trump mediated a ceasefire.

In a social media post Trump stated that he is pleased to announce that India and Pakistan have agreed to full and immediate ceasefire.

He also thanked both the countries and congratulated them on using common sense and great intelligence.

It comes after India attacked terror spots in Pakistan in response to the Kashmir incident, after which Pakistan retaliated back by striking India, leading to further exchanges between the two.

Both the countries have confired that a ceasfire has been agreed from 17.00 hrs IST, confirms Indian Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri.
