Business Desk: Apple iPhone has been hit with a row concerning harmful and excessive electromagnetic radiations. The sales of iPhone 12 have been suspended by the regulators in France.
As per a report by BBC, the regulators in France have detected electromagnetic radiations in high amount which could be deleterious for human health. As a result, its sales have been stopped and Apple has been asked to fix the issue.
France’s digital ministry has given Apple a time of two weeks to respond to the same.
Meanwhile, Apple has stated to the media that it does not concern the safety of the users as the latest findings are “related to a specific testing protocol used by the France regulators.”
It also said that the iPhone 12 has maintained the emission rules worldwide.
Viewing this, other EU counties might take similar steps against Apple, as the report suggests that countries like Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium, have also looking into the matter.
This latest controversy regarding radiations raises serious concern in relation to the safety of mobile phone devices on our health.
