Jio to introduce next-level wireless broadband experience with AirFiber

Business Desk: India’s broadband giant Jio has announced a new product extension of its existing Jio Fiber internet services. It is set to launch its new 5G internet broadband service named Jio AirFiber, which will be a next-level wireless internet hotspot device.

In comparison to the values provided by its existing Jio Fiber services, AirFiber would come with a device that looks like an audio speaker. It will provide seamless 5G broadband internet services without the clutter of cables and wires.

Jio has stated that AirFber will be an ideal broadband device for home and office use, and it will be able to provide wireless connectivity up to 1000 square feet within a floor.

Among its other value propositions, this product will also come with features like parentel control and other features already present in Jio Fiber like controlling the devices through an application and others.

Besides, customers will be able to do a self-installation without relying on company representatives.

Jio will be unveiling this product on 19 September 2023, which is also the day of Ganesh Chaturthi across India.

During the launch, Jio will also be revealing the cost of the device and subscription plans associated with the same.

Whether this upcoming product will provide superior value than its already existing fibber service is yet to be known, however, being a wireless broadband device, it can surely be instrumental in expanding the reach of hi-speed internet services across India where wired connectivity is still not available.
