Science/Tech Desk: After criticizing AI and ChatGPT sometime back, Elon Musk is himself is set to set his foot onto the world of AI now.
On July 12, 2023, Musk made the official announcement about the launch of his new AI brand named xAI. “Announcing the formation of @xAI to understand reality,” he stated on Twitter.
According to its official website xAI will attempt to understand the true nature of the universe. “The goal of xAI is to understand the true nature of the universe,” it stated.
Further, the website also says that the xAI team is led by Elon Musk and users can meet the team and ask questions about the brand during a Twitter Spaces chat.
Although the website doesn’t reveal much detailed information about the characteristics of this new AI brand and its value propositions, it says that it is a separate company from X Corp and will work closely with Twitter, Tesla, and others.
Recently, after the launch of generative AI brand ChatGPT Musk had called it an “woke’’ for providing users with “politically correct” output.
