Sports Desk: Cristiano Ronaldo has stated that he has been betrayed by his club Manchester United and its manager Erik ten Hag.
Ronaldo also said that he has no respect for Erik ten Hag because he has not been treated respectfully.
The Portuguese soccer sensation stated this during a broadcast media interview with journalist Piers Morgan in a channel named Talk TV.
As per a report from ESPN, Ronaldo also said that coach Hag and couple of officials of the club have been wanting him to leave the club and treating him with disrespect.
Additionally, he also added that the club is not at the right path at present under the current manager and owners.
He said that the club has seen no progress since former manager Sir Alex Ferguson had left.
Since his return to the Manchester United from Juventus in 2021 he has not been able to make much impact for the team which has just climbed to the 5th position in the latest Premier League season.
He has missed his last two matches in the Premier League due to an injury. Besides, there are also reports that his daughter has been ill lately sue to which missed some of his commitments with the club.
Alternatively, he was even fined by the club recently after he refused obey the orders of coach Erik ten Hag to play as a last-minute substitute in the match against Tottenham Hotspur.
