Global Desk: President Joe Biden tested corona virus positive. This was announced in an official press release by the Press Secretary to the President Karine Jean-Pierre on Friday.
According to the statement, President Biden is experiencing mild symptoms for the virus and doing well. He has started taking Paxlovid and will continue fulfilling his duties in the White House an isolated manner through phone calls and Zoom meets from home until he is tested negative.
Additionally, the statement also said that Biden is fully vaccinated virus along with two booster jabs.
President Biden also took on social media and posted an audio visual and said that he was doing well. He also thanked the people for their inquiries and concerns for his health and urged everyone to keep faith.
Earlier on Tuesday, Biden had also tested for the virus, however it revealed a negative result.
