Assam Flood: Sharad Pawar prays for the people of the state

National Desk: In view of the worsening flood situation in Assam, the supremo of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) Sharad Pawar has empathized with the people of the state and prayed for their safety and wellbeing.

He said that his thoughts are with the people of Assam who have been badly affected by the devastating flood and rain.

Pawar also urged the state government under BJP and Himanta Biswa Sarma to do its best to help the people and take immediate relief measures.

“My thoughts are with the people of Assam, those affected by the heavy rains and floods. I urge for immediate intervention of the State Govt. to undertake immediate relief measures! I Pray for their safety and well being”, he wrote this on Twitter on Thursday.

Pawar’s comments on the current flood situation in Assam came soon after over 30 dissent MLS of Shiv Sena landed in Assam’s Guwahati and jolted the future and stability of Maharashtra Vikas Aghadi government jointly led by NCP, Shiv Sena, and Indian National Congress in Maharashtra.
