Are we moving to a Zero-Opposition Democracy?

Editor’s Desk: Are we moving to a state of zero-opposition democracy? Every sensible person is asking the question. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leadership of the state says, the municipal poll will be fully zero-opposition.

If there is any nomination from any party or candidate outside the BJP fold will simply lose their security. Some of them have, however, submitted nominations only to save the faces of their respective umbrella parties, says the President of the state BJP.

Opposition-less democracy is sure to lead to one-party rule.

Will that mean Indianization of democracy?
