Business Desk: Microblogging site Twitter finally has a new CEO. Linda Yaccarino is set to lead Twitter, after its new owner Elon Musk confirmed about her appointment on Friday.
“I am excited to welcome Linda Yaccarino as the new CEO of Twitter! @LindaYacc will focus primarily on business operations, while I focus on product design & new technology. Looking forward to working with Linda to transform this platform into X, the everything app,” Musk stated this on Twitter.
“As soon as @LindaYacc is ready, we will do a Spaces where you can ask us anything”, he further wrote in another Tweet.
Linda Yaccarino is a highly experienced media executive in the US. She has a bachelors degree from Pennsylvania State University. In the past, among others, she has led the advertising sales team of the NBC Universal.
