Global Desk: Recently King Charles III and the Queen consort visited a temple in London. They made spiritual stop at the BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in London.
The purpose of their visit was to celebrate the 30th anniversary of this iconic worship site, which is also popularly known as the Neasden Temple in the capital city.
During this they were greeted with flower garlands and sacred threads were also ties on their wrists by the priests in the presence of other devotees.
The King and the Queen consort offered their belated good wishes for the festival of lights Diwali during the occasion.
This was not his first visit to the temple. He has made solo visits a number of times in the past as the Prince of Wales.
