Sports Desk: The Forbes magazine has declared the names of the biggest football teams in the planet. Spanish club Real Madrid has been named as the world’s most valuable club for the year 2025.
The La Liga club, which has been valued for 6.75 billion USD has seen a two percent increase over 2024, reports Forbes. It has received the coronation for the fourth year in a row, and nineth time in the past 12 editions of the Forbes rankings, affirming its position as a club that can be regarded as the biggest team in the planet.
Premier League club Manchester United has been placed second in the table. Real’s el-clasico rival Barcelona set third in the table in terms of its financial success. This is followed by current PL champions Liverpool, Manchester City, Bayern Munich, PSG, Arsenal, Tottenham, and Chelsea at ten.
Among others, the 30 most valuable soccer team list features other leading teams form the major football leagues in Europe. It comprises of 12 clubs form the English Premier League, four from Serie A, three from Spain’s La Liga, two from Germany’s Bundesliga, and one form France’s Ligue 1.
Together these 30 teams are worth 72 billion USD.
