Sci-Tech Desk: Elon Musk’s xAI has launched its latest AI chatbot version Grok 3 on 17 February 2025. According to Musk and xAI, it is not an ordinary conversational AI tool, but it is the world’s smartest and the most advanced AI model ever.
Grok 3 is said to be distinct in numerous ways compared to its closest competitors like GPT 4o, Gemini, DeepSeek, or Claude. It possesses exceptional capabilities and has shown remarkable performance across range of tasks like reasoning, maths, coding, and more.
Among others, apart from the general way of answering to user prompts, Grok 3 stands out for its witty, humorous, unfiltered, and edgy way of responses, making it unique than other chatbots.
Besides, it also comes with its own integrated search engine known as DeepSearch, which provides more in-depth responses than common search engines. Within this, users can also use its ‘Think’ mode feature through which they can get more in-depth and analytical responses.
For the time being Grok 3 is free for users for a limited period. It can be used through social media platform X, its mobile applications, and the website grok.com. However, as more features roll out, like its voice mode version or image generation capabilities, it is set to be subscription-based platform, with the advanced features being available exclusive for its X premium+ and SuperGrok users.
