Sci-Tech Desk: Britain has become one of the first countries to release an action plan for artificial intelligence, with Prime Minister Keir Stermer recently announcing an AI Opportunities Action Plan.
The objective of the plan would be to make UK a world leader in AI by utilizing it to boost the economy, create more jobs, and improving people’s lives.
In multiple social media posts the Prime Minister explained that artificial intelligence is the greatest force in the world right now, and he is determined to harness its full potential.
Stermer also said that AI is a defining opportunity of this generation, and the current Labour government’s plan to change would be ‘turbocharged’ by AI.
By stressing that Britian does not want to walk the path of US and EU on AI, he added that Britian is committed to be a global leader not a follower in AI.
