Global Desk: The Bidens have welcomed their last holiday season as the President and the First Lady of the United States by announcing the 2024 White House Holiday theme, which is: A “Season of Peace and Light.”

On Tuesday, 2 December, the Bidens announced the Christmas holiday season at the White House with a welcome letter in the White House Holiday Guidebook.

By reminding that it was an honour of their lives to be the President and the First Lady, the Bidens wrote that the holidays had always held a special place in their hearts, and they had always loved to open the doors of the People’s House wider and wider each year and continue the spirit of goodwill and gratitude.

They also reminded that America’s story was people’s story, and they were always guided by and the power of community and connection, and the values of faith, family, service to the country and kindness towards neighbours.

The Bidens also wrote that during the holidays, Americans came together in fellowship and faith, and it always reminded them that they were stronger as a community than as a part, and the strength of the nation and its soul came from its people.

On their last Christmas Holidays, the White Hose has been decorated with 83 Christmas trees, over 165,075 holiday lights, and other adornments by around 300 dedicated volunteers from around the country.

This would be the Bidens’ last Christmas at the White House before the incoming President Donald Trump takes over on January 20, 2025.
