Global Desk: Elon Musk has been given a new responsibility in the upcoming Trump administration. The world’s richest will be looking after the efficiency of the bureaucrats in Trump 2.0 by leading the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). He will lead the department along with Indian origin businessman and Republican primary candidate Vivek Ramaswamy.
The President-elect announced this through an official statement in his social media platform Truth Social. He said that he was pleased to announce their names, who would together pave the way to dismantle government bureaucracy, slash excess regulations, and cut wasteful expenditures
He also said that through their roles, Elon Musk and Ramaswamy would be providing advice and guidance from outside the government and create an entrepreneurial approach the government never seen before.
