Weak looking Biden says he’s not going anywhere
Global Desk: US President Joe Biden has confirmed that he is relinquishing from running for the presidential office again.
By ending the speculations that he might be replaced by someone else at the Democratic Party, Biden while interacting with the media said that he was not going anywhere.
81-year-old Biden, who looked weak and unwell during his first Presidential debate against Trump hosted by the CNN television, has been criticized by many critics and his own party members, casting doubt on his fitness to run for the president again. In fact, a number of Democratic lawmakers have even publicly urged him to step aside.
However, despite scepticism from his critics, Joe Biden remains resolute. He has pledged to continue countering Trump and remain in the White House for another term.
There’s no doubt that Biden is old and he seemed unfit both physically and mentally. During his first face-to-face presidential debate with Trump, he stumbled on the ocassion and even seemed facing difficulty in putting forward his points or in countering his opponent. Following the debate he in fact admitted that he ‘screwed up’ on the debate stage. Even though he has expressed his confidence in his ability to stick to the race now, his age and health definatley raises doubt. A strong nation like the United States also requires a physically strong leader. However, could his age related vulnerabilities stratigically work favour of team Trump?
