Global Desk: Leaders from across the world have arrived in India for the G20 summit. They received a grand welcome upon their arrival in New Delhi airport.
Among others, Rishi Sunak from UK, Sheikh Hasina from Bangladesh, Giorgia Meloni from Italy have already landed in India. US president Joe Biden and leaders from other G20 countries are also arriving soon.
Additionally, media persons have also arrived to cover the summit.
However, the event will see the absence of the presidents of China and Russia Xi Jinping and Vladimir Putin.
Apart from being a platform to discuss about global issues relating to multiple fields like economy, climate change, Ukraine, and others; the summit is also poised to offer a vibrant display of Indian culture.
India has been given the presidency of the global summit which will be held on 9th and 10th September 2023 in New Delhi.
