PM Modi salutes the teaching community for inspiring dreams
India: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday extended his good wishes on the occasion of Teachers’ Day.
In a tweet, Modi saluted the teaching community and said that teachers are ‘devoted to nurturing minds and spreading the joys of education in society.
Modi also said that teachers ‘play a key role in building our future and inspiring dreams.’
Additionally, Modi also paid tributes to the former president of India Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan on whose birth anniversary the nation celebrates this special day.
Further, he also shared a video of his interaction with a group of teachers from across the nation, who are the winners of the National Teacher Award.
Teachers’ day in India is observed on 5th September every year.
