India to unlock the mysteries of the Sun through this new mission

Sci-Tech Desk: After successful Moon landing India is setting its sights on the Sun now. ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization) is set to accomplish another space mission where it will aim to unlock the mysteries of the Sun.

As per its latest announcement, ISRO will launch its first solar mission named Aditya L1 from Sriharikota on 2nd September 2023.

Among others, the objective of the same would be to study the space weather and gases on Sun.

The spacecraft would be traversing four times farther distance than the recent Chandrayaan mission. It will travel around 1.5 million kilometres from the Earth.

ISRO announced about this latest mission through its social platforms.

Furhther, it has invited the space lovers to witness its launch from the Launch Gallery View at Sriharikota through an online registration.
