Business Desk: While you were asleep, Twitter changed its new logo twice. Following the change is the iconic blue bird with an ‘X’ logo, Musk led metablogging platform updated the new logo again on Wednesday, 26 July 2023.
The new version of the X logo looks almost similar in design; however, the updated logo is thicker than the previous one.
By stating his intention behind the fleeting update, Musk said on Twitter that he didn’t like the thicker bars, so he was replacing. He also added that “The logo would evolve over time.”
Earlier, Musk had said that he was rebranding Twitter to ‘X’. he also stated that “soon we shall bid adieu to the Twitter brand and, gradually, all the birds.”
In view of the change, Twitter CEO Linda Yaccarino said that “X is the future state of unlimited interactivity – centered in audio, video, messaging, payments/banking – creating a global marketplace for ideas, goods, services, and opportunities. Powered by AI, X will connect us all in ways we’re just beginning to imagine.”
The new Twitter logo has already been updated in most platforms; however, it is observed that the old and iconic blue bird has not yet been replaced in its mobile applications.
