Global Desk: Prince Harry and his family will have to travel without police protection in the UK. On Tuesday, 23 May, he lost the legal battle to appeal have paid security for his protection which was denied to him by the Home Office.

In consequence, the Duke of Sussex has lost his right to have personal security protection like the royal family members after he gave up his royal duties and moved to United States with his wife Meghan Markle where he is settled now with two child.

In its judgement the court stated that allowing him to have personal security in return of payment would affect anyone who would want to have personal security if they pay for it, the Telegraph has reported.

Reacting to the court order, Prince Harry said that it is ‘procedurally unfair’.

Earlier, the Home Office of the UK had denied personal security to Prince Harry after he gave up his royal duties. It stated that the wealthy people should not be allowed to pay and buy personal police protection.
