FIFA launches its official 2026 World Cup logo
Sports Desk: After Messi’s spectacular show at Qatar 2022, the countdown of the 2026 World Cup has already begun. On Thursday, FIFA launched its official brand and logo of the 2026 World Cup to be jointly hosted by USA, Mexico and Canada.
As per fifa.com, the launch event held in Los Angeles was graced by the presence of a number of legends of the game and special guests from the histing countries. The official brand along with its theme music and a campaign titled ‘We are 26’ was unveiled by FIFA president Gianni Infantino.
The 2026 World Cup is set to be different than the previous editions because three countries will be jointly hosting it for the first time. Besides, instead of the usual 32 teams, 48 countries will be participating in this edition.
In a statement, Infantino stated that this would be the ‘best and the most inclusive World Cup ever”.
Likewise, its vice president Victor Montagliani said that the 2026 World Cup ‘will be a festival of football that will take the sport to new heights.

The World Cup will host 104 matches around 16 venues across the three host countries.
