No UK citizenship for refugees arriving by boats
Global Desk: The Rishi Sunak government is set to take some tough measures against the growing problem of illegal migrants in Britain. Refugees who unlawfully arrive by boat to the UK will not be able to appeal for citizenship or seek asylum anymore.
This will be applicable according to a new legislation planned by the British Conservative government.
According to a report by the BBC the government is likely to outline further details soon.
If this new law comes into force than migrants have to face lifetime ban from entering, seeking asylum or citizenship ever again in the UK.
It also states that anyone who arrives in the UK by small boats will be sent to a third country like Rwanda first, only from where they will be able to appeal for asylum.
As per official records of the government countries like Albania, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, and Syria are among the top five countries from where immigrants are coming in large numbers through illegal means like small boats.
According to the government this move will protect the UK boarders and also stop the inhuman and illegal trade of transporting migrants by boats to Britain.
