WhatsApp messaging will not be same anymore after these five new features

Sci-tech Desk: Meta has introduced five new features in its instant messaging platform WhatsApp in regard to privacy and interpersonal communication through the medium.

According to a press release by Meta on 7th February, the in aim is to make communication easier and secure for the users.

To begin with, WhatsApp will now allow you to privately select your audience for your statuses. From now on you will be specifically able to select your contacts for any status. Besides, it can be used for multiple posts with the saved option. This feature will give you more personalized choice as to who you would want to view your statuses.

There is also a new feature for the people who hate typing too much. From now on you will be able to share audio status by recording your voice for up to 30 seconds. This will enable you to share a status on the go and also make update sharing further easy and simple.

Apart from replying or reacting through text or voice, WhatsApp would now also allow you to react to any message from your friend through a bunch of eight emojis. This will allow you to visually express yourself without writing.

Likewise, if you do wish to miss the status updates from your loved ones, than a new status profile ring feature present around the contact’s profile will be useful. A status ring will be visible every time they share something about their lives through a status update.

Further, do you want to share your new YouTube video link with your friends? WhatsApp will now ensure that your audiences have a better grasp on what it could be about. Due to this, WhatsApp will now automatically play a preview of the video to make your status look more beautiful.

These five features have already been activated by WhatsApp. However, it will be globally available for everyone in the coming weeks. All you just need to do is update to its latest version and enjoy these new interactive experiences.
