India’s new milestone in aerospace! ISRO launches the first privately made rocket by a start-up company
Sci-Tech Desk: ISRO – Indian Space Research Organization – launched India’s first privately manufactured rocket from its space launch centre situated in Sriharikota.
The rocket named Vikram-S has been made by the scientists of Skyroot Aerospace, which is an aerospace start-up organization in India.
The launch mission which was named as Mission Prarambh was successfully executed by ISRO on Saturday, November 18.
Upon its launch, Skyroot Aerospace and ISRO were congratulated by the people of the nation. President Droupadi Murmu in a social media post said that it is ‘proud moment for the country’.
Besides, she also added that the success of this mission demonstrates the scientific prowess and capabilities of India’s private space industry.
