Global Desk: US President Joe Biden has asked the Iranian citizens not to worry as America will free Iran. He made these comments during a public address in California.
“Don’t worry, we’re gonna free Iran. They’re gonna free themselves pretty soon,” he said.
Biden stated this in view of the ongoing unrest in the Islamic republic in reaction to the death of the young women named Masha Amini who was allegedly killed due to the assault in the police custody for not wearing a hajib.
In addition to the university campuses, which have become the centre stage of the revolution, the crusade has also reached the streets and public places of the major cities of the Islamic nation.
According to reports, the government is finding hard to manage the intensifying protests even after arresting over 14,000 people so far. Besides, it has also been estimated that over 200 people have already been killed during the protests.
