Global Desk: The United States has come to know that North Korea is helping Russia by providing ammunition to invade Ukraine.
As per a recent story published by Sky News, this was revealed by the spokesperson of the US’s National Security Council John Kirby.
The US also stated that North Korea is secretly supplying ammunition like artillery shells, although its exact estimate is unknown.
Additionally, US also added that its role is being monitored and its involvement will not change the status quo of the war.
Further, it also stated that the procurement of weapons from Pyongyang is an indication that Russia is running short of weapons after Ukraine’s robust defence and artillery support from the west.
Meanwhile, Pyongyang has denied any involvement in supplying weapons to Russia.
It also asked US to “shut its mouth” and stop spreading lies to tarnish its ‘global image’.
