Global Desk: The Vice President of Argentina Cristiana Kirchner survived an attempted murder after a gunman fired a loaded gun towards her on Thursday.
However, was fortunate enough, as the attacker could not harm on any part of the body. To go with the reports, Cristiana Kirchner had a close shave with the bullet as it missed her head by only a few inches.
The incident took place while she was coming out of her car just outside her house in the national capital Buenos Aires. During this a large crowd comprising her supporters have been said to be present along with the gunman.
The security personals have apprehended the gunman. He has been now to be a 35-years-old with Brazilian origin.
Reacting to the incident President of Argentina Alberto Fernandez condemned the incident and revealed that the gunman had carried a gun with five bullets loaded in it.
Besides, in a televised address to the nation he also said that this is the most serious incident after the resurrection of democracy in Argentina.
Cristiana Kirchner, who is a lawyer by qualification has been serving as the Vice President of Argentina since 2019.
