CBSE declares 10th & 12th standard results, girls outshine boys
India: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) have declared the results of 10th and 12th standard exams held across India.
The educational board announced the results on its official websites cbseresults.nic.in, results.cbse.nic.in on Friday.
Additionally, results are also available in other government portals like results.gov.in and others.
According to reports 2093978 students sat for the 10th standard exam this year. Out of this 94.40 per cent passed the exam.
Likewise, around 92.71 per cent students passed the 12th standard exams which were conducted for Humanities, Commerce, and Science streams.
Like most years, girls have outshone boys in both 10th and 12th standard exams.
Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi congratulated the students on their achievement and extended his best wishes for their future endeavours.
This is one of the rarest occasions when the CBSE have announced the results of 10th and 12th exams on the same day.
