Regional Desk: In Assam two new minister were added in the Chief Minster Himanta Biswa Sarma led state government on Thursday.
BJP leaders Jayanta Malla Baruah and Nandita Gorlosa were sown in as ministers in presence of the Chief Minister, Governor Jagadish Mukhi and other cabinet ministers.
While Nandita Garlosa has been given the responsibility for departments like Power, Cooperation, Mines and Minerals, and Indigenous and Tribal departments, Jayanta Malla Baruah has been handed over the portfolios of Tourism, Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Public Health Engineering departments.
This was the first cabinet reshuffle under the Himanta Biswa Sarma led BJP government in Assam. This takes the total number of ministers in the cabinet to 16.
