Guwahati/Regional Desk: President Ram Nath Kovind arrived in Guwahati on Tuesday for a three-day visit to the northeast India.
He was welcomed at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport in Guwahati by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Governor of Assam Jagdish Mukhi, and other officials of the state government.
During his stay in the state, the President will be attending the annual conference of Bodo Sahitya Sabha.
From Assam he will be travelling to Mizoram’s capital Aizawl where he will be present at the convocation ceremony of the Mizoram University.
