Dayananda Pathak highlights the modern elements of Srimanta Sankardev’s plays in an international conference by Namghar Association of America

Guwahati, 10 April, 2022: On Sunday, a virtual conference on the plays of Srimanta Sankardev was held under the joint management of the Society for Srimanta Sankardev and Namghar Association of America, USA.

Noted educationalist, author, and the editor-in-chief of newsop24.com Dr Dayananda Pathak spoke volubly about the modern elements in the plays of Srimanta Sankardeva to the international audience.

Professor Pathak discussed the plays of Sankardev in the light of modern theories about good plays that are both time-serving and timeless for the people.

Besides, he also highlighted the focused points of great magnitude that are seen in the plays of Sankardeva.

The lecture was moderated by Dr Sanjib Kumar Barkakoti, a veteran scholar on Srimanta Sankardev.
