Global Desk, 15 march, 2022: The Covid-19 virus has struck the former President of the United States of America Barak Obama.
On Monday, Obama publicly informed about this through a social media post.
He said that prior to the test, he had been experiencing a scratchy throat for a couple of days.
He also said that apart from this he was feeling fine.
Alternatively, Obama also encouraged people to get vaccinated and added that he is grateful to be vaccinated along with his wife Michelle.
He also informed that Michelle Obama has however tested negative.
“I’ve had a scratchy throat for a couple days, but am feeling fine otherwise,” Obama tweeted, adding that his wife, former first lady Michelle Obama, has so far tested negative. Michelle and I are grateful to be vaccinated and boosted,” he said.
After knowing about Obama’s health, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his good wishes for his quick recovery.
In reply to post by Obama, Modi said “My best wishes to @BarakObama for your quick recovery from Covid-19, and your family’s good health and wellbeing”.
