State Elections Result Day: BJP leading in UP, Aam Admi Party likely to form government in Punjab

National Desk, 10 March, 2022: BJP is set to return to power in Uttar Pradesh, as the latest trends on the results day on Thursday show that BJP will comfortably win the highest Majority.

BJP is also leading in Manipur, Goa, and Uttarakhand and set to form governments in these states as well.

However, the state of Punjab has been an exception so far. Congress is leading only in 15 seats according to latest trends. Reports say that even Sidhu, Channi, and Amarinder Sing are trailing in their respective seats. Surprisingly, it is the Aam Admi Party who are leading in around 94 out of 117 seats who is likely become the giant killer. Alternatively, BJP is nowhere in the contention.

Continuing of the votes started at 10 AM in the morning and the final results will be out by the evening.
